Join The Workforce Institute at the UKG HR and Payroll eSymposium

Fall is officially in the air, which doesn’t just mean better weather — it means another insightful eSymposium is around the corner. The fall UKG HR and Payroll eSymposium features a full day of virtual sessions and keynote presentations focused on four purposeful tracks and all surrounding one great theme, Choose Purpose: Empower Your People and Business.

The next eSymposium will take place on Wednesday, December 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. I’m proud to say that The Workforce Institute will once again be participating in full force at the event, discussing two top-of-mind HR topics: quiet quitting and better managing. Among the 14 sessions offered throughout the day, you can catch yours truly and members of our advisory board at the following sessions:

Finding a Cure for Quiet Quitting | 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. ET

Building on the conversation started by our recent article on the highly debated topic, I’ll be hosting a panel discussion on quiet quitting. Our conversation will feature culture experts Tony Bond, EVP, chief innovation officer at Great Place to Work; Jessica Kriegel, chief scientist of workplace culture at Culture Partners; and Joey Pricefounder and CEO of Jumpstart:HR, and member of our advisory board.

While employees decide to quietly quit for a variety of reasons, what if you could prevent quiet quitting from happening at your organization in the first place? I’ve got some good news — you can! In this discussion, you’ll learn how to take meaningful action today to transform your culture and inspire your people at work, so they’re motivated to go above and beyond for one another, your company, and your customers, while strengthening their careers and your business.

After attending our session on quiet quitting, join me later in the day for a presentation on effective leadership.

Managing with Purpose: Develop Your Style and Have an Impact on Your Team | 2:00–3:00 p.m. ET

While no two managers are exactly alike, one trait all great leaders share is they instill a sense of meaning in their people. In this era of uncertainty, now more than ever, we need to connect our people with meaning at work to engage and inspire them. But, there’s no one way to do this. Join my session to gain a deeper understanding of leadership styles, identify the one that best suits you, and learn how to better lead no matter what the world throws your way. In other words, learn how to manage with purpose.

All the Fun — Without the Travel

Even though the eSymposium is a virtual conference, it’s designed to look and feel just like an in-person event. In addition to attending sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to network with fellow attendees and members of the UKG team in virtual lounges, plus play some fun games and access relevant content.

Register today for the fall eSymposium. Attendees are also eligible to receive certification credits. Enjoy all the benefits of an in-person conference without any of the stress of travel and time away from home. We’ll see you there!
