I'm very pleased to announce that as we approach the 10th anniversary of the Workforce Institute at Kronos, we are expanding our global focus with the addition of a European board of advisors. When we began in October of 2007, our goal was to create a forum for the discussion and dissemination of smart ideas to help leaders with best practices, in-depth knowledge, and practical advice for optimising their workplaces to achieve both great results and engaged employees. From the beginning, we've relied on our boards of advisors to provide advice via our blog posts, podcasts, and the books we've published.
In 2013, we launched a chapter of the Workforce Institute in China to expand our global perspective. And now we welcome new advisory board members who will spearhead the initiatives of The Workforce Institute Europe. Chaired by Claire Richardson, Kronos senior director of professional services, EMEA, our inaugural European board members include:
The Workforce Institute Europe will officially launch with a panel debate headlined, “The Always-on Con,†on Oct. 10 at Flux Lounge, London where board members and industry thought leaders will debate the pros and cons of the growing use of technology in our lives. Primary research initiatives of The Workforce Institute Europe will address workforce management issues impacting the entire workforce, including both hourly and salaried employees.
