A new report from the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education  says that  "69 percent of the 334 employers who responded said they experienced difficulty hiring employees with the appropriate skills, while 84 percent said school systems require moderate to major changes".  The focus of this report is on the types of changes and investments that would be required to make Massachusetts a global leader in public education.  While much of the focus of the report is on preparing students for post-secondary education, the authors also include trade/technical education as an area needing investment.  Good thing, as you can see that these are among the jobs that are most difficult to fill in Massachusetts right now.
