The Workforce Institute has hit quite the milestone: 500 blog posts! (Here’s the very first time we hit publish). When we launched the Workforce Institute and this blog in 2007, it was an experiment in social media. We wanted to create a place for discussions about the places where people management and technology meet. We gathered together a board of outside advisors to help us create an ongoing dialogue about how organizations balance the demands for productivity with their concern for their employees. The members of that board have changed over the years, but what they’ve all had in common was a passion for sharing their unique insights about what distinguishes great employers and workplaces.
Through blog posts, research, podcasts, and the three books we’ve published, we’ve shared a lot over the years. As a way to celebrate 500 posts, we’re taking a walk down memory lane – with our five most-viewed posts since we started, back in 2007.
And as a special bonus to all of our longtime – and new – readers, we’re giving away five copies of “It’s All About Bob(bie) – Strategies for Winning with Your Employees.” See the bottom of this post for all of the giveaway details.
Thank you for reading! Here’s to 500 more.
